LEGO 2K Drive Officially Announced for PC and Consoles

We had already anticipated it, but the official confirmation has finally arrived: LEGO and 2K have presented their bizarre (but apparently very fun) new course title, LEGO 2K Drive, which will be available for PC and consoles from May 19, 2023.

Made by Visual Concepts, the veteran team of 2K sports simulations, this game transports us to a vast open world where we can make any vehicle our imagination offers us, allowing us to drive on land, on water, and even fly.

LEGO 2K Drive is the first result of the partnership between 2K and LEGO and represents the beginning of a collaboration that aims to evolve the video game version of the brand, offering new and interesting ways to play.

We start the adventure with a story mode that will take us through all the regions of Mattonia, engaging us in a challenge with many racing champions who want to compete for victory in the Astro Cup Trophy. Between one race and another, mini-games, challenges and collectibles await us.

Of course, a wide range of customizations could not be missing, being able to use the over 1000 unique pieces that can be collected in LEGO 2K Drive. There will also be many cars from the universe of LEGO City, Creator, Speed, and Champions.

In addition to the single-player mode, LEGO 2K Drive also features a number of multiplayer modes that range between competitive and cooperative play, both online and locally complete with split-screen modes.

A final treat? Thanks to a partnership with McLaren Automotive, the McLaren Solus GT and McLaren F1 LM will appear in LEGO 2K Drive in the future – newly released in a LEGO Speed Champions double set to celebrate 60 years since the founding of McLaren by racing driver and engineer Bruce McLaren.
