Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch postponed to November

Without a shadow of a doubt, Hogwarts Legacy (purchasable with this link ) is a record-breaking game, capable of surprising millions of players all over the world.

Whether it's the original launch on PC and next-generation consoles or the recent arrival on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we can say that all fans of the Harry Potter franchise have been satisfied. Maybe.

In fact, there is a branch of players that has been a little less fortunate, seeing their landing at the school of magic moved from time to time. These are Nintendo Switch owners, who were waiting for their copy of the game for July 25th and who now see the finish line moving away until this winter.

The announcement comes from the game's official profiles, as you can see from the tweet at the end of the article, and postpones the release of Hogwarts Legacy for the Nintendo console to November 14, 2023. The motivation, as usual, is the desire to create the best possible product.

The news is certainly unpleasant for many fans and owners of Nintendo Switch, but rationally it is not surprising. The Avalanche Software title proved to be rather complex and heavy from its first appearances regardless of the platform, forcing major graphical changes in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. It is natural that the compromises can be higher on an even less-performing console and more time is required to finalize the development.
