Almost two years after showing the first smartphone prototypes with camera under the display, Xiaomi has finally launched its first device with an “invisible” selfie camera.
The new I Mix 4 is also the first phone to d be powered by the new processor Snapdragon 888 Plus Qualcomm.
Xiaomi’s latest Android flagship features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection . Use a camera under the screen by 20 MP with large 1.6 uM pixels, the area right above the camera uses a micro-pixel diamond pattern that allows a density of 400 PPI.
On the back of me Mix 4 there is a large compartment for the camera that houses a main sensor 108 MP, an ultra wide-angle to 13 MP and a lens periscope 8 MP Optical Zoom 5x. The Mi Mix 4 has a relatively large 4,500 mAh battery with support for charging speed wired from 120W and wireless to 50W.
As you’d expect from a modern flagship in 2021, the Mi Mix 4 also offers dual stereo speakers, IP68 water and dust resistance, 6E Wi-Fi connectivity, Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and 5G connectivity . The new smartphone should be on sale, unfortunately only in China for now, from August 16 at a starting price of 4,999 yuan (about € 658). It will be available in three colors: Ceramic Black, Ceramic White and a brand new Ceramic Gray.
